Job Description: Responsible for processing chicken combs at Lampire with the goal of providing consistent, high-quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation.


Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
•Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.

•Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

•Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

•Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations

•Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively.

•Good understanding of the metric system and scientific notation.
Requirements:

•Routine washing of chicken combs

•Perform washing and slicing per Lampire and/or client specified (SOP’s)

•Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

•Track disposable and production material inventories and order as necessary

•Assist in filling, labeling, and finished goods inspection operations

•Operate analytical and basic laboratory equipment

•Completion of all necessary paperwork according to Lampire, client, and FDA guidelines

•Cleaning of laboratories on a routine basis

•Performing all job functions in a safe manner and reporting all safety concerns or observations to management or the safety committee

•Compliance with all pertinent Quality Assurance procedure and requirements

•All work will be performed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)

•Assist in preparation of investigation reports and additional testing required by the client or as part of the CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) Program
Education:

Minimum of a High School Diploma.

 

Physical Requirements:

This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, for extended periods of time. The employee will need to be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds, several times per day.

 

Working Conditions:

Conditions inside the lab and generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the rabbits including cage and facility maintenance. This would include the feeding and watering of rabbits, administering treatments, as well as swapping, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal housing units and animal facilities.


Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Feeding, watering, and administering treatments, including observing and reporting any signs of disease/illness and help to treat minor cases of such findings.

• Scraping, chipping, and dusting, animal caging units

• Swapping/rotating animal.caging units

• Disassembling/assembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing all animal caging units

including feeders, water bottles, and enrichment items

• Facility maintenance including, HVAC, water systems, light fixtures, etc.

• Responsible for completing accurate reports documentation records including maintenance

sheet, room temperature log, animal treatments, and animal inventory

• Maintaining the rabbit breeding program

• Tattooing of rabbits

• RODAC testing, pre and post cleaning

• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of supplies needed

• Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent preferred but not required

• AALAS certification, and familiarity with USDA and AAALAC regulatory requirements a plus

• Good oral and written communication skills (English), mathematics skills, and goo1-

attention to detail are required.

• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively while working in a team

oriented setting

• 1 year minimum of relevant working experience

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull at minimum 3Olbs

• Experience with farm equipment specifically tractors, manure spreader, skid steer a plus



Education:

Scope of Responsibility:
Responsible for purification of antibodies at the facility, in accordance with client specifications and/or Lampire work orders with the goal of providing consistent, high quality products and services to our customers with complete, accurate documentation.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Position Requirements:

  • Routine Buffer preparation for all processes being performed in the department.
  • Protein A and Protein G purification of Normal IgGs and other antibodies.
  • Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed.
  • Assist in filling, labeling and finished good inspection.
  • Operate basic laboratory and analytical equipment.
  • Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in relation to protein purification.
  • Cleaning of Laboratory areas on a regular basis.
  • Perform work in accordance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
  • Perform autoclave sterilization of items as needed.
  • Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program
  • Other duties as assigned.

 


Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in scientific field preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a scientific field with a HS Diploma, 0-2 years with a bachelor’s degree.

This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the lab. The employee will need to be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

 

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking and sitting. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet with the exceptions of the equipment noise.
