Job Description: Provide support and assistance for routine and advanced duties for the Customer Service and Sales Department.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Serve as the first contact with customers, vendors, and partners when they first call, and transferring within facilities as needed
• Assist Accounting Department with outstanding invoices and communicate with clients to collect payment details.
• Enter routine orders completely and correctly including the preferred delivery method.
• Review completed orders for peers.
• Send order confirmation; provide customers with realistic and accurate delivery times.
• Communicate with the customer to let them know when there are delays and Back Order situations, update on projected delivery dates.
• Serve as the voice to the customer to the company to express not only questions and concerns, but also accolades when Lampire goes above and beyond for them.
• Assist Quality Assurance Department regarding Customer Complaints
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficient oral and written communication skills (English)
- +2 years’ experience in Customer Service preferred, but not required.
- General mathematics skills are required.
- Organization skills required
- Knowledge of the metric system.
- Windows-based computer skills to include proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask
- Ability to give directions to different departments within the company and consolidate
the information to convey to the customer. - Understanding and working knowledge of the sales and customer service cycle preferred

EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma required
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s
facilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Generally quiet office environment with minimal noise.
- May require climbing stairs in office.
